This post will be of huge interest to anyone who lives in the Deep South part of calagary.

This morning my riding buddy took me to some sweet single/double track in the Deep South. The trail starts on the west side of the bow south of Stoney. Simply ride the paved trail south and then look for the single track trail that veers off towards the river and just ride. This trail takes you behind the burnco facility, the water plant and eventually ends at heritage pointe. This trail is not on trail forks.

There is limited climbing, so it would be a great way to get a spouse that or child into trail riding.

I left my house in new Brighton, did this trail and then a little bit in fish creek for a little over 30k......strava glitched on my phone so I don't have an upload yet, but will ride this again.

It would make a great evening ride and you don't need to drive to the trailhead
