So maybe size isn't the issue (it sort of is when you play Anaheim though)- but perhaps what I mean is more toughness. More of a 'hate' to getting pushed around. So many times you look at them getting shoved without pushing back. Monahan for example is a shrinking violet. I haven't seen that guy get angry, basically ever.
They just didn't seem to really stick up for each other often, or fight back much.

I love when Monahan gets cross checked and responds by scoring goals. Don't need guys in the penalty box all the time. I think this team has plenty of young tough and skilled players who are growing into their roles. Bennett and Tkachuk in the top six is all the grit we need. One on each line. Ferland can move up and down the lineup. In-car the only area we're lacking drive/toughness is defence. After Gio we kind of just have casual guys, who turn it on and off.
In summary, adding a skilled forward shouldn't be a problem.
