I assume you have never been married. Also in regards to Pronger's wife being an exception maybe you have a short memory but Michael Nylander pulled out of his deal with Edmonton because his wife didn't want to live there. This happens more than you seem to think it does as wives have a say where they live regardless of how much their husbands make as that's why players fight to get NMC's.
