Not that it makes the stat that much better, but only 2 of them are in the Flames' system. Monahan hasn't even missed 20 games since we drafted him. It sucks that we didn't do as well as we had hoped for, but at the end of the day we did get a very good player who could potentially score 40 or more goals in a season. If you look at a lot of teams' draft records I'm sure there are a lot of misses in the later first round picks, I do put some blame on the feaster regime, but there's not much we can do about it now. At the time klimchuk and porier didn't seem like bad picks either, hindsight sucks when looking at drafts.
