I don't even need to "educate myself" or have some expert tell me that some big ol diesel truck spitting out black smoke is really not good for the Earth. Multiply that by a billion trucks, a billion container ships, a billion cars, and a billion power plants that burn coal, and you can likely see for yourself it's likely not good for the environment.
Doesn't it just make intuitive sense to you to pursue energy sources that are renewable and unlimited like solar and wind?
