If this offer is on the table I think the Caps would be wise to jump all over it and i personally think it is an overpay by the Flames. I don't see the Flames giving up Bennett, 1st and a prospect. Dumping Brouwer is nice but not worth giving up the rest of the package.
If that was the cost I hang up the phone. I wouldn't include any of Monahan, Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Bennett, Hamilton, Brodie, or Giordano for Ovi.
