This is a huge issue with hurricane season starting up. Neither the NOAA nor FEMA have leaders at the moment. If we were to have a season like 2004 or 2005 without those positions filled, it could spell a whole lot of catastrophe.

At this moment, the US isn't properly capable of handling a major terrorist attack, a major natural disaster, or any other number of issues.
