Rode the ridgeback triplets and tom snow today. Great morning to be out early.
The ridgeback triplets ((we skipped the 4 b@st@rd child) were 99.8% bone dry. Started the ride out by clipping a rock and almost riding directly into a tree, was able to save myself at the last second. And to be honest I had forgotten how RB is a trail of extremes. Super sweet single track, with some really rooty sections that beat you up.
From RB - Tom Snow initially seduces you with some super sweet double track and eventually you get to a section where you need to walk around some muddy sections.
The ride was a nice change from WBC.
I have been having some issues with my rear shock for the past month or so, and last week the boys at Cyclepath south were able to get me a sweet deal on a can creek dual can shock. I am hoping this shock comes in this week as my current shock is not performing all that well.
