The big difference here is the tier's in this draft. Last year the drop off came after the third pick this year it is after the 2nd pick. I have serious doubts the Canucks could move up to grab one of Hischer or Patrick but really it is anyone's guess who is going to get picked 3-10.
Vancouver also didn't get PLD last year who they apparently really wanted. They could be more aggressive to land the player they want. Perhaps the 5th pick and their 2 2nds would be enough?
It could be a bigger deal of Tanev+5 for 3+Prospect
