As before, the white of this set is definitely my favorite. I think I may have figured out why I don't like the red as much though.
It's the White C. This may be heretical to long time fans but I've only followed hockey since the Flames had a black C. I wonder what the red jersey would look like if the C was black instead of white. All of the other white parts would probably have to be swapped to Black as well, otherwise there would be too many colours.
Also, I wonder what it would look like if it was like Stockton's third jerseys, a red C on black. That would look pretty good imo. The striping pattern on Stockton's third is kind of awful but with the stripes on these jerseys I think it could look really good.
