I hope this isn't taken as patronizing or anything, but I just want to point out how totally disarming this response is to my original question about whether you'd intentionally omitted relevant information. If anyone was looking for an example on here of a way to respond to a challenge to one's credibility that not only completely rehabilitates it, but actually increases it, this should be exhibit "A".
