Default INTRODUCING: CPHL Biography

Introducing the first in an alphabetical series of 32 Biographies of the General Managers of the Calgary Puck Hockey League (CPHL).

Angelino – Is that my midget?

Jim Alowishes Sra, born June 13, 1973, in Denver, Colorado to Harold and Agnes Sra. Angelino was born with only 9 toes (6 on one foot).

At the age of 7 Angelino sadly lost his father to a tragic party balloon accident. Angelino then moved to Detroit, Michigan where he was raised by his mother and step-father (Gunther McGillicuddy). Angelino’s first job came at the age of 11, he was hired as a Urinal Cake Taste Tester, and he held this job through school and into his early 20’s.

After graduating in 1996 from Western Michigan University with a degree in Underwater Basket Weaving, he got his first taste of managerial duties when a friend dared him to try his luck as a circus carnie supervisor. Shortly after, Angelino was successfully running a corn-dog stand, while supplementing his income by selling his body at night.

By 2000, Angelino's one man puppet show "Men Are Pigs" (which focused on a mans use of his girlfriend’s lotions), was made into a Showtime television special. The segment caught the attention of Los Angeles businessman Gary Humphreys who persuaded Angelino to move to California and make his play into a full feature adult motion picture.

Before the 2003 movie debut of Men are Pigs, Angelino made headlines by revealing that he had served time in prison from 1997 to 1999 for possession and distribution of narcotics to preschool children. However, his controversial admittance failed to affect the popularity of Men are Pigs, which made $1.25 million in its opening weekend and went on to gross over $23 million. Although Angelino’s acting was suspect the “greased midget stampede” scene has become Hollywood legend.

Currently Angelino is the General Manager of the Los Angeles Kings in the CPHL. He currently has his team of rag tag rejects sitting 6th in the HOWE Conference. His control of the Kings is masterful as he currently has 12 unanswered trade proposals on his team page. His nickname amongst other general managers is “Madam Underpants”.

Stay tuned for the next CPHL Biography: antithesis – The real reason he doesn’t have a capital letter in his name.
