Lucic was 98th in scoring this year. The 98th highest contract in the NHL was 5.6 million. 6 million is about 73rd highest I do believe. He brought good value for this year. The rest are to be seen.
I feel the next 2-3 years of that contract will be fine. The last 3 probably will suck. I am curious if he will have to retire early due to his Scheuermann's disease. Someone was telling me about that but I am not a doctor.
