You know what, that was literally who i was thinking about when i was reading this thread. Big guy who can take over a game with their shot or physicality.
I think with Ferland, obviously consistency is an issue. But going into his third season as an NHL regular, I would expect him to be more consistent on a night to night basis.
For this coming year, there should be no excuses for fitness or lack of experience, nothing about the NHL should surprise him at this point.
At 25, he's also at the point where if he doesn't "put it all together" now, it's probably just not gonna happen.
More than anyone else, the two players on this team who I really want to see succeed are Ferland and Bennett. I feel both are playing well below their potential level and have soooo much more to show. This coming season is going to be huge for them.
