Of the UFA's it comes down to Elliott and Mason IMO.
Elliott has the better numbers, but Mason is younger and has actually handled a starters work load. 60, 48, 50, 53 starts in his last 4 seasons.
Mason's numbers are actually VERY comparable to MAF's numbers while MAF has been playing on a much better team, and we wouldn't have to give anything up in a trade to get Mason.
I'm actually kind of surprised now looking at the numbers, that Mason isn't getting more votes to be honest. |
What I get from that table is that the goalies on good teams have good stats and the goalies on bad teams have bad stats.
