This is much, much different. How do you spin actually asking someone to help end an active investigation into you or your allies? That's actual obstruction. I'm not sure there's a spin here. Maybe you could say he was simply asking them to state what they had told him, that they had no knowledge of any evidence of collusion (but couldn't say there was none, or that there was no investigation)?
And in this will be filed in the annals of "Those who ignore history are deemed to repeat it" with it's similarity to Watergate. The actual thing that led to Nixon resigning is the response from Congress after they found out he tried to get the CIA to pressure the FBI into ending the investigation into him...

The spin would be that he was asking them to state their current knowledge of the situation to help diffuse the situation publicly. If the NSA and National Intelligence didn't have any intelligence tying Trump to Russia them stating so wouldn't be obstructing the FBI but would help him in the public eye.
I don't believe that is the case but that would be the best outcome for Trump.
