Why? Gillies/Rittich/Parsons have basically zero NHL experience. It seems like people have this idea that our goalie prospects are somehow better than goalies currently playing in the NHL. It's certainly possible, but there is no evidence that they are. So what we could and would likely end up with is a backup goalie as our starter (Johnson) and a question mark with no experience as our backup. Recipe for disaster.
