Late to the party, but bunting is terrible and always will be. The game may have gone differently is Travis had gotten the bunt down, but that's still an out you are just handing the team that only needs 3 per inning. The only time I think bunts are good are squeeze plays where you are catching the defense off guard and actually scoring a run.
Talk about a rally killer - Jays have two on and no one out and the Travis at bat handed them an out without even moving the runners.
TL;DR Bunting is terrible.
