I saw this article, and this must be related to the train vs pedestrian incident at Whitehirn Station. This bus is heading Northbound at 44th ave, so it must be a shuttle bus for the LRT line that was out of service. In any normal operations, there isn't a bus that continues northbound at that intersection.
