How can game 2 and 3 be all on Elliott? There were more issues than just him in both of those games. Does he deserve more blame than than other individual player? Surem but it was not all in him.
He struggled to start in game 2 but he battled and kept us in it as we drew even only to have bad penalties cost us. Game 3 yeah Elliott was bad, no doubt. But how often do we see goalies give up bad goals when the team in front of them stops playing? Not to mention the terrible officiating; there was the obvious high stick goal and when have we ever seen a lineman physically drag a player away from the opposition bench as he is throwing punches and not at least blow the whistle?
