I don't know, Flames made the playoffs on average goal tending from Ramo and Hiller followed by one of the statistically worst seasons by a goal tending pair in recent memory. Then the inconsistent year from a new tandem.
It's obviously not ALL on Sigalet but I think it is more than fair to place a good bit of responsibility at his feet. I mean at the end of the day after all he is not the one playing the games. But I would contend that even Malarchuk could keep his goalies heads on straight with more success than Sigalet has. Honestly, I don't think I've seen goalies who have had great success elsewhere look so mentally fragile .
Even AHL, where are his goalies now? This isn't vitriol for the guy but a genuine concern he's a part of the problem
