I haven't seen anything yet as far as a news story go. The media jumps on layoff news, but hiring seems to be not as interesting. I spent almost 8 years at Shaw before being laid off myself, still have a bunch of friends that work there, is where I got the info.
I'd absolutely consider working at Shaw again if I needed a job. Some of the people I worked with were tools, but most were awesome. I really miss their benefits package.
