I don't really mean to sound flippant, but that's kind of it. There are no doubt millions of people thinking now "I really should have voted" or "I should not have voted for Trump" but at the time she didn't convince them. That's a flaw.

did get more people to vote for her. Didn't she win the popular vote by +3 million? She lost the vote in closely contested states by small margins. I think a lot of people under estimated how close the race was going to be, and as a result didn't bother to vote. Probably more so in those closely contested states.
