I don't think there is a huge difference between what Bishop and Elliot bring. I'm starting to feel okay with a Gillies/Elliot split on a reasonable contract. No one will be kicking his door down, but he's still an effective NHL goalie.

I would not like him being our main starter though. Only talking if he splits with a capable prospect. Lots of cap hit left then to get some help up front.
