I don't get it. He provides stability in net right NOW and probably for at LEAST 4 years of that deal. Way better than what we've got going on right now.
Stars 2017/18 - High probability of stability
Stars 2018/19 - High probability of stability
Stars 2019/20 - High probability of stability
Stars 2020/21 - High probability of stability
Stars 2021/22 - Starting to question as he's now 35 (So are Rinne, Andersen and Lundqvist)
Stars 2022/23 - Maybe it's now finally falling apart he's 36 (So was Luongo when he was up for Vezina last year)
Flames 2017/18 - ??????????????????????
Flames 2018/19 - ??????????????????????
Flames 2019/20 - ??????????????????????
Flames 2020/21 - ??????????????????????
Flames 2021/22 - ??????????????????????
Flames 2022/23 - ??????????????????????
Yeah, I'd rather roll the dice with what the Stars just got thanks.
Hopefully that changes over the next few months, but I doubt whatever we end up getting will be able to provide the stability Bishop will likely provide for Dallas in the coming years.
