Anyone who watched Elliott single-handedly crap the bed for the Flames in the playoffs would not be dumb enough to offer him that much money. Maybe if Winnipeg gets desperate they overpay for him but even that seems unlikely.
If the Pens end up trading one of Murray/MAF I could see Elliott signing there for a one-year $2-2.5 million deal to be the 1B.
