That was a trade that posters here had been saying that the Oilers had to make before it was made and an awful trade after it was made. Everyone here couldn't stop posting about how stupid of a player that Hall was and how he would never amount to anything and that the Oilers needed defensemen. The Oilers trade Hall for a #2 Right Handed Defenseman who is on a cheap contract for many years to come and the exact same posters point to this as being an awful trade for Edmonton. They won the trade by giving up the better player but getting the more valuable player.
