I wish McDavid didn't play for the Oilers. Not just because he's good (though much more Ovechkin than Crosby in these playoffs), but because I would be happy to cheer for him on another team. He seems like a really decent young guy and it sucks that he has the Oiler stink on him.
Not his fault that the Canadian sports media are falling over each other to fellate the Oilers and generate hype.
