I find it amusing that anyone who brings objectivity to this forum is criticized. Was tired of the narrative on HF and thought the CP was a better platoform--but anyone with average to above average hockey intelligence knows the Oilers took a huge step forward and will be legit contenders for many years to come. The Flames have a lot of work to do this summer to compete--period. If you want to hang your hat on the "Oilers sucked for 10 seasons to be good" argument then knock your socks off--but nobody remember how bad the Pens were pre Crosby. I would encourage everyone on this forum to shift their visceral towards the Oil and perhaps evaluate their own team. Goodnight and Go Flames!
