I'm more worried that some idiot GM will actually pay the Oilers something of value for those two.

Eberle/RNH for the Sedins.
The Sedins get one last kick at the cup with the Oilers, and the Oilers get a bonafide second line with $14 million in cap space available in McDavid's bump year.
The Canucks get two still relatively young but flawed offensive top 6 forwards to supplement their existing weak forward core. Maybe a change of scenery would do them good (see Dubnyk, Schultz, Cogliano, Gagner, etc.).
I think this makes a lot of sense for both teams.
