There's lots of love for the Oilers on twitter right now from prominent media members, but I'm not sure I share their optimism. A lot of things went right for the Oilers this year, and they are going to have cap difficulties. They may make the playoffs, but there certainly isn't any guarantee that they ever become a truce cup contender.

They need Talbot to repeat his stellar season. I'm not sure he keeps that level. He's good, but plenty of goalies have a great year followed by a lesser one.
