What I like about Treliving is that he will have thought of all these possibilities and will have explored the cost/likelihood of all of them, so we can at least be confident that all possibilities will be explored. That said, I brought up earlier in the thread that I thought with 2 strikes in the goalie column the last two seasons, Treliving would almost certainly look for the "sure thing" this time around. I assumed that would be Bishop. And it does look like Treliving tried that route a few times to the point of burning that bridge it seems. So, what then? Does he really have the balls to roll the dice on a "maybe" (Grubauer, Raanta, even Halak or Mrazerk) for the 3rd season in a row? I still think they go for as sure thing as they can find. What that means I am not really sure... I would honestly not be surprised to see Miller/Johnson as our tandem for 2 years. I think Treliving will do his utmost to see if he can pry Murray or Schneider loose. I am not sure if MAF is their kind of guy or if he would even come here... Interesting times ahead...
