He was traded 4 years ago when he was 27 at the start of his prime for 9th overall straight up.
So logic would dictate that 4 years later and now 31 years old his value should have dropped some, so 16th overall seems like it should be in the ball park value wise.
However, 2013 draft >> 2017 draft
So the Flames offer 16th overall plus a decent prospect with NHL upside. If they are OK with moving him that should be plenty. Can't really pick a prospect because it would depend on their scouts and who they like, and whether or not they want a D or F. I doubt they want a G because they have 2-3 really good ones already.

I mean, I kind of think his value is higher now than it was 4 years ago? The guys a proven stud now, albeit one that's coming off his worst season.
I just don't see how they would go for 16 plus Jankowski/Andersson or whomever.
