I think they take Brouwer. A proven leader and former 20 goal scorer. A connection and history with McPhee.

Plus, I don't think the salary cap will be as much of a concern for the first few seasons.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Flames make a trade in Vegas' favour to entice them to take him.
