I would definitely want to see what can be done with Pittsburgh, as they will be in a dire position we could capitalize on.
But I also want to see what Elliott brings to the table if he gets another kick at it. I'd also want a new goalie coach working with him, as the handful of goalies who have career worst seasons with us is pretty telling.
I always like seeing what people bring to the table (in life and hockey) when you give them a second chance. We've seen that Elliott can be a world-beater (Johnson was no slouch either), so solving the inconsistency is the only thing we need to ask of him.
