In your exchange of qualities scenario, honestly, how much less could this guy be 'offering'? At least judging by the article, she has a source of income. This doesn't exactly seem like she's running to the media because he wasn't cute enough - if she was, I could see the argument.
This doesn't seem like the story of a woman who came in with completely absurd expectations, and after refusing the first 50 people they tried to set her up with, they waived their hands in the air and picked this guy.
The company refused to respond to CBC. The US affiliate was shut down, fined half a million dollars, and ordered to pay back customers. The Canadian affiliate has already been investigated for similar claims.
But the company can't be ripping her off, it must be because she's a troll and should only expect to date the homeless.
