Obviously you don't bet on an unproven prospect suddenly becoming your starter, but I voted Gillies because I want to see him succeed and I think it's time to start giving him NHL starts to see where he's at. There were also so many good options to choose from.

Since you don't bet on Gillies, he shouldn't really enter into the equation much at this point.

What I really want though is
1) Bishop or Fleury as a proven starter (in that order of preference, as I think Bishop is more consistent and he wouldn't cost anything beyond money).

AND

2) Darling or Grubauer as the young option (in that order of preference because again Darling is a UFA and Grubauer is not).
