I'd take a 2nd rounder for Gillies in a second. Take a look at the list of goalies in the poll, you can get Vezina nominees, Stanley Cup winners and proven NHL goalies for free or very close to free. Goalies are cheap to acquire most years, and this year because of the expansion rules, they're cheaper than ever before.
I think you're extremely overvaluing the cost of goalies this year.
