I don't believe for a second that this would be the case. The problem here is that trades for burgeoning starting goalies are rare, but the few which have taken place over the past several seasons have not yielded anything close to the returns that you are promoting.

It is actually a BUYER'S market: This summer could present the softest market for starting goalies of the past decade or more thanks to the expansion draft.
