Yeah I expect only half the players LV picks will form their NHL roster. I could see them plucking 15 or so NHL players in the expansion draft, with the rest of their NHL roster coming through UFA and maybe trades. So maybe half of their expansion picks will be more prospect type players.
This is why I think its unlikely they do teams any favors by taking their bad contracts unless the teams offer a sweetener. The cap floor can be achieved through pricey short term deals, or their own UFA signings.
I think Shinkaruk is most likely Flame to be picked. And I expect Brouwer to be exposed.
