Pure speculation but Bob Marjanovich on TSN1040 was hinting that Seabrook may want to come back to W Canada. He's from Delta and his wife is a Calgarian. He seemed to be linking him to the oilers as they need a top flight D. Could be a whole lot of nothing, but sometimes the local athletes have ties to the media and they may have some inside info.
