Couple of questions about this.
First, are the "neo-cons" and "libertarians" you're arguing with unmoved by the increasing concentration of wealth in fewer hands and lowering top marginal tax rates because they're dumb and don't understand the issue, or because they don't consider those problems as important and pressing as you do? Is it just a values / priorities mismatch?
Second, I don't know what you mean by "the entrenchment of corporate interests and their ascendance over the rights of mere humans"? Corporations don't really have many rights, compared with private individuals.
Third, what do you mean by "look at copyrights as one example"?
I have other questions about what you're saying but those are the ones that jump out at me most.
