unlucky series. flames deserved a better fate but bounces and goaltending sunk them.

their depth didn't help. brouwer was useless all series and season and yet got prime pp and empty net time.

bartkowski was at 26% possession tonight and was instrumental in gifting the ducks their 2nd goal. yet continued to get deployed, including over hamilton on the pk in the 2nd, which immediately caused another pk right after and evaporated any momentum the flames got from their goal. i have been saying this for months now, but bartkowski does not belong in an nhl lineup. it's so painfully evident that bartkowski and engelland gets us stuck in our own zone running around and bleeding shots every shift. they were the ones on that famous line-change, and were on the ice for both the high stick goal and the tying goal last game. for bartkowski to be -5 this series (a total goal differential of -3 not counting the eng) in the minutes he gets is actually pretty incredible.

on the bright side, monahan had another strong game. he's more than ppg this playoffs. bennett had a good series. lazar looked really good with poor linemates.
