Reasons the flames will win four straight:

1) This season's flames team has shown up only when things get extremely dire. And then they battle back to achieve their goal. Like that time they won 10 straight to make the playoffs. This time isnt any different.

2) The team has won 10 in a row this season...so winning four in a row isn't really much of a stretch.

3) Winning streaks begin after a team has begun playing well. After a pretty poor ending to the season, the flames have outplayed the ducks through three games. So a winning streak is just around the corner.

4) Meanwhile, the ducks are on a pretty amazing winning streak to end the season and start the playoffs. Winning streaks usually end after a team has been playing poorly for a stretch, but still getting lucky. The ducks have gotten a lot of lucky bounces and a lot of lucky calls these past three games. But after the streak finally ends, comes the hangover...so hangover for the ducks is just around the corner.

5) The whole idea of being a fan of a pro-sports team is pretty silly. Significantly more silly than the notion of winning 4 straight (which isnt really all that silly). So if you're going to be a fan, you might as well believe. Really believe and just live in the moment. Believe when no-one else does. Because as the flames drive to win four it row, it will make the journey all the more special if youre on the wagon from game 1.

6) When the GDT starts a midnight we lose in regulation. When the GDT starts at 11pm we lose in ot. When the GDT starts at 10pm we win.
