It is interesting to note a lot of the Ducks shots are angled from each side of the net and often directed into skates. It is a smart play because the other side of the goalie is not covered. It is the same tactic they used the last time we had them in the playoffs and didn't seem to have an answer for it. It is also an angle that is harder to control rebounds and when they do come out they often come out at the open side of the net. When the Ducks made the goalie switch I watched how they played those angle shots into the corner while Elliot seemed to try and kick them out or corral them. I think we are being out coached and played based on this very simple tactic. Everyone's talking about how we are scoring on ourselves but some of it is they way the Duck play the shots shooting for the rebound, into skates or to the man on the opposite side. Makes it hard for Elliot make the right decisions.
