I blame the Flames lackluster results over the past two decades on lackluster jersey design.
The had great success in the 80s with their retros, and could've possibly won multiple cups if it wasn't for the stinkin' Oilers. Flames change to nice ones for the 2004 season, and it brought them to a goal away from the Stanley Cup. Also earned division champs to the following season.
