It's nice to think that the flames "have been in it" for all 3 games, and that maybe have just been unlucky. However, this is a duck team that is KNOWN for this. Exact same thing happened (hell worse) to the jets last year against this team.
Ducks are just a team that doesn't get rattled and when they eventually do battle they will usually win.
Flames just don't have the mental fortitude to win against this ducks team when it matters.

Totally agree with this. The Ducks are full of guys who know how to win. There is a big gulf between their mentality and the mentality of the Flames, and its been evident throughout this series.
Acting like the Flames have been the better team just ignores the areas where they are clearly outmatched. They haven't done what it takes to win, and that's the biggest part of it. The Flames have been vastly underestimating the effort and focus they need to actually beat a team that has owned them for so long. The series 3-0 for a reason.
That being said, hopefully the Flames can learn a little bit and prolong the series. At this point I'd be thrilled if they get to game 6 or 7.
