He took a shot in the first period that I would guess wouldn't have hit 30 on the radar gun. He has no confidence in his shot because he currently doesn't have a shot.
So no surprise that he passed the puck.
Also, the people calling him soft, give your head a shake. He is noticeably in pain. And the Ducks are whacking the crap out of him.

I think is is very true, there is something wrong with Johnny and he maybe hurt. Just wish it was Brouwer or Bouma but no it has to be Johnny.
