Tough game to watch as a Calgary Flames fan.

Brodie's penalty was just flat out unacceptable. Not much else to say.

But everything else was just so tight. A bounce here or a bounce there this series is completely different.

The only infuriating thing for me was the Hamilton penalty. GG was on point. How do you only call one penalty in that scenario? Hamilton was rushing to get back into the play after jumping up into the rush, and he was interfered with. By none other than Corey Perry, one of the biggest rats in the game. If that was Tkatchuk, who would have received the penalty? You talk about bias' and benefit of the doubt, how does Hamilton get the only penalty in that? Its asinine.

As tight as the checking was in that game, it was a really good game up until that point. The refs had put away their whistles and both teams were getting their chances. Then the refs took over. If he high sticks a guy, or a blatant trip, I can live with that. But that call was ridiculous given the circumstances.

In the ebb and flow of the series, I think timely PP goals are the difference. The Ducks scored on their late gift in game 2, the Flames couldn't get it done on their 5 on 3 in game 1.

I have no idea what the rules on goalie interference are anymore, so whatever. But I can see why the call back was goalie interference. I'm not too upset over that.
