I mean look at the difference - Johnny ties it in 2015 from right next to the dot with Anderson on the edge of the crease. Last night Gibson was swimming in the blue paint and Johnny was another two steps in. He needs to shoot instead of being a Tanguay.

I'm still completely baffled and mystified as to why he didn't shoot the puck, given the time in the game (15 seconds left), the score and how deep Gibson is in his crease. It has been a problem all year with Gaudreau, over passing, trying to make the cute/difficult play. He did it in game 1 on a 2 on 1 with Ferland with the pass being picked off easily and then again yesterday in the most crucial part of the game. I've never been so upset at a player for not shooting in my life.
